Special Care
I’ve had dogs in my family my entire life. I’ve experienced the joy of accompanying quite a few best friends throughout their entire lives from rascally puppies to the Rainbow Bridge. Professionally, I’ve worked with a breeder for more than half a decade. I’ve worn many hats throughout my career and many of them have been helping dogs in a delicate state. I’ve developed protocols and devised methods for managing challenging situations in the school of hard knocks. I am comfortable and experienced when dealing with dogs experiencing a health or age-related issue.
If you have a dog in need of special handling due to advanced age, a medical issue, disability, being part of a breeding program, in heat, or pregnant and need a maternity cut I will do my best to help. I'm also happy to schedule an appoint to evalute your pup's grooming needs and teach you how to care for your pup at home.
I would love to chat with you about your special pup. Together, we can talk through your concerns and determine if my experience equips me to groom your dog. I have a specialneeds pup of my own, and I am super protective of her.
The cost of grooming a dog with special needs will be on an individual basis but will closely follow pricing for standard grooming. I look forward to chatting with you so we can make a plan that meets your needs.
