Puppies
I've raised and groomed countless puppies. We introduce grooming procedures to our new puppies at 3 weeks of age. When they are 5 weeks old, we begin age-appropriate full grooming. Many of our puppies continue with our program for many months as part of our training program, and the puppies continue to grow in their good grooming behaviors as the level of grooming they need increases with age.
The time to introduce grooming as part of your puppies' training is as soon as possible. It's ideal to have a groomer well versed in puppy development who also has a lot of experience working with the variety of temperaments a puppy may be born with. Most importantly, the groomer you choose for your puppy should handle your puppy with the love and care you are giving your puppy.
The right groomer for your puppy will offer guidance as your puppy matures and reaches new milestones. With them, your puppy will learn grooming is safe and agreeable, and you will know your puppy is in trusted hands. No one should worry their fur baby isn't being treated with gentleness, kindness, and love.

A puppies grooming needs are geared more towards age than size. We keep it short and sweet when they are very young and build as they mature.
